Research Projects
2006 - 2007
MSc. project (grade: 8/10), Imperial College London
I designed a Facial Expression Recognition System using a non-rigid registration technique to derive facial motion in imagesequences. Machine learning techniques such as boosting and HMMs were used to classify facial actions based on the derived motion. Implemented in Matlab and C++.
2004 - 2005
BSc. project (grade: 9/10), Delft University of Technology
Incorporated speech recognition & synthesis and implemented simple computer vision system and dialog management on the Sony Aibo robotic dog platform. Implemented using Python, C, C++ and several toolkits.
